Stylist, Tastemaker & Reluxe Founder: Clare Richardson
One of the most respected and sought after names in the fashion industry, Clare Richardson has had a long and successful career as a stylist and tastemaker working with brands such as Hermes, Balenciaga and Calvin Klein.
A contributing fashion editor at WSJ, and both British and Italian Vogue, Clare is also a known advocate of the idea of 'slow fashion’, which has earned Reluxe admiration and early endorsements from some of the best-known faces in fashion.
"This is a project that I have been developing slowly, and quietly, over the last couple of years. Firstly, it is important to say that I love fashion. Love it. It is why I am so passionate about the job that I do, as a stylist and brand consultant, and the designers that I get to work with."
Reluxe is a guilt-free and accessible way for people to indulge their love of fashion and refresh their wardrobe while doing good for the planet.
Reluxe reduces carbon emissions produced by the fashion industry through promoting and enabling the reselling and recirculating of luxury clothing items. Our aim is to help change behaviour and create a more sustainable fashion environment.
The global fashion industry generates 10% of the world’s climate-altering emissions, while 80 billion new items of clothing are created every year. Extending the life of clothes by just nine months reduces its carbon, water and waste footprint by 20-30%.
Working with independent sellers, as well as our Relove brands, Reluxe authenticates every item and takes care of the process from photographing and listing through to selling and shipment.
This is the opportunity for shoppers to have access to the wardrobes of the most stylish women in the world.
