Clare’s Summer Sale Wishlist
"With our first ever end-of-season sale, there has never been a better reason to treat yourself to that preloved piece you’ve had on your wishlist."

Sales are the perfect time to invest in staples. While we all want to indulge in the latest 'It' bag or viral trend, remember to also invest in items that will complement your wardrobe, so you can love them for longer. To save you some time as you race to the checkout, Reluxe founder and renowned stylist Clare Richardson has picked out the very best summer buys from this time-limited markdown, guaranteeing you’ll find that must-have item for less.

Beach Style

Ahead of your holidays, treat yourself to a last-minute buy with a swimsuit from the sale - a one-piece feels more elegant, with black being a tried-and-tested mark of sophistication. When shopping for seasonal pieces, you want to look for designs with longevity, something that you'll reach for from summer to summer. An oversized pair of sunglasses will have a permanent place in your suitcase, which is also true of a study yet stylish pair of flat sandals.

Boho Chic

Boho is all about looking effortlessly chic with a touch of artistic license, so let your imagination run wild with colours, prints, and accessories. On my summer wishlist are these Valentino gladiator sandals which can so easily be dressed down for a festival, or glammed up for a city break. As well as colourful patterns, adding fringing is perhaps the easiest way to embrace your inner hippie, so look for bags and jackets with some tassel detailing.

90s Grunge

The nineties is the fashion era that keeps giving, from Kate Moss’ barely-there slip dresses to the unforgettable Clueless plaid suits. One particular trend that’s had a real resurgence is grunge, which is nowhere near as intimidating as it sounds. If you’re wanting to dip your toe, I’d recommend starting with an oversized denim jacket like this one from Ralph Lauren, as you’ll have no trouble styling across seasons. And with a classic black dress, you can never go far wrong.
