What is in your capsule wardrobe?
I have a good mix of wardrobe staples and emotional, less practical pieces. When dressing in the morning I realise my clothes are very often an extension of my personality/ my mood. In these daily outfits, there is a mix of desirable pieces, a “wow” item which I cherish and a basic utilitarian one. It's not even planned to be as such, but comes out every time. I might pair a knitted black dress with a very special pair of shoes, or fringe jacket with classic denim. My days are super active and my clothes have to work with my multi tasking rythm: Mum, consultant, business owner, friend and wife, as I do not have the time to change from day to evening.
Here is a non exhaustive list of what I have in my “capsule wardrobe”... A great checked blazer from Khaite or a navy one with gold buttons from Ralph Lauren, a perfect short sleeve white t-shirt, cowboy boots, a good vintage bootcut jeans, fringe jacket (either from Bode or vintage), Adidas Stan Smith trainers, a cotton blue shirt borrowed from the men’s closet, a round neck heavy knitwear, a knitted dress, ideally short sleeve, a bandana; like the Hermes scarf I am wearing further down. Way too many shoes!

How do you shop preloved?
For real vintage pieces I would say 'regularly, alone and rapidly', I rarely shop vintage online. For more recent pieces that I want to buy second hand or preloved pieces I generally know exactly what I am looking for so I appreciate sites like Reluxe that have a curated edit as I do not enjoy browsing for hours digitally.
When I am not on the hunt for something in particlar I enjoy wandering and take time to browse. I enjoy looking at shapes, fabrics, colours, inspiration and spend time chatting with the shop owner.
What is your most treasured item of clothing?
I don’t think I have any, or perhaps it is a very old Ralph Lauren Kilim Printed Jacket that my mom gave me. She wore it when she was pregnant with me and I love it. It is belted, heavy and the perfect shades of browns.
What is the piece of fashion that you are still searching for?
The perfect cotton white shirt, not too crisp, not too shapeless.
What are your future fashion heirlooms?
Without any doubt, fringe jackets.
What is your favourite styling tip?
If you can not throw it on and go, rethink it
Who is your fashion icon?
A blend between Mick Jagger, Lee Radziwill, and anyone careless about their style. Think about BODE mixed with a Jazz singer. Also, I really like looking at old street style from the 70’s, especially the French ones.
Is there anything you buy every season?
Yes, I buy denim every season. There is something so special about that material. I am fascinated by it, and how it can shape anyone’s body. The immense width of shapes/ forms and cuts make it so inspiring and interesting.
Which designers do you hunt for in vintage stores?
I particularly like old Dolce & Gabana, Hermes, Levis and Ralph Lauren, I have a thing for Alaia as well.
What does luxury mean to you?
A healthy relationship with time.
What do you collect?
I do not collect anything - I am not a hoarder nor a keeper.

What does sustainable mean to you?
Anything that can regenerate itself, without the help of any external factor. Soil might be the only sustainable matter? Now more broadly and related to the fashion industry; no business, nor collection is truly sustainable - However, there is a very interesting notion to explore, which is the circularity.
