I think the secret to great swimwear is making sure it reflects your personality and complements the rest of your wardrobe. So take look at your holiday clothes - if everything is quite minimalist with muted colours, then a super bright bikini may disrupt the coherence of your overall outfit and make you feel less confidence. I always look for natural fabrics as these will keep you cool and allow the skin to breathe under the heat. I think we are all guilty of sometimes wanting to save things for special occasions but I always believed in the concept of really wearing and loving your clothes.
