A Bold Splash

I think the secret to great swimwear is making sure it reflects your personality and complements the rest of your wardrobe. So take look at your holiday clothes - if everything is quite minimalist with muted colours, then a super bright bikini may disrupt the coherence of your overall outfit and make you feel less confidence. Seaside Statement

I always look for natural fabrics as these will keep you cool and allow the skin to breathe under the heat. They will also wash well - and any stains/marks can usually be removed by leaving them on a sunny washing line for a few days.     I think we are all guilty of sometimes wanting to save things for special occasions but I always believed in the concept of really wearing and loving your clothes. Don't just keep those lovely summery dresses for that one summer wedding... take advantage of the sunshine and put on those pieces that make you feel great. I love the shape of Tove dresses, they are so flattering, they will be my go-to dress for the summer.

      There is absolutely no reason you can't wear jewellery on the beach - whatever makes you happy! I think holiday jewellery is a great way to take an outfit from day to night - add a statement bangle and some fabulous flats and your beach coverup take on a whole new lease of life.
