Transition Seamlessly with Clare
As summer comes to an end, Reluxe founder Clare Richardson shares the pieces she is wearing to transition into autumn.
It’s that time of the year again where dressing for the unpredictable weather becomes more and more challenging. We are currently in that strange time in-between seasons where it’s cold in the mornings, hot by noon and freezing in the chilly evenings. So, how can we transition our outfits into autumn without completely rearranging our closets?

As the temperatures slowly drop, it’s important to layer lightweight garments that can be taken off or put back on depending on the weather. Start with the basics- a casual t-shirt and denim combo can be elevated by layering a blazer and/or knitwear for an effortless feel.

For this first look I’m wearing a white t-shirt and a FRAME x RELOVE Blue Le Slouch Denim Trouser. I live in blazers and love how this preloved TOTEME x RELOVE Black Pinstripe Double-Breasted Vent Blazer goes with the Camel Monogram Embroidery Knit. The lightweight knit adds an autumnal hue to break up the black, white and denim. To make sure I’m prepared for the potential afternoon heat, I’ve the paired my outfit with comfortable black leather sandals.

        I’ve put together the preloved TOTEME Black Wool Crepe Band Tube and Skirt with the Le Monde Beryl Black Embroidered Mary Jane Flats for a simple, yet classic outfit that can take me from a summery day to dinnertime. Accessorize the outfit with your favourite necklaces and sunglasses and you’re good to go.
            As with most blazers, the way to make this look more casual is by wearing your go-to white t-shirt and denim underneath. I especially love how this Prada blazer adds sophistication to a relatively simple outfit.
            For a day at the office or meeting a friend, I would wear the Prada F/W 2019 Black Preloved Overcoat With Statement Hardware with Celine Silver Metal Flat Hoop Pierced Preowned Earrings to compliment the silver accents of the outfit.
