Founded in 2014 by Elin Kling and Karl Lindman, TOTEME makes wearable luxurious. The Stockholm-based brand values craftsmanship and everlasting appeal over trends; it is a style universe with a singular aesthetic.
TOTEME specialises in classic staple pieces inspired by modern women’s lives and needs. Produced with meticulous craftsmanship and a clear point of view and design DNA, TOTEME creates clothes with a strong identity that can be styled for any occasion. Think relaxed coats and blazers and soft, textural knits in ultra-wearable shades like cream, ivory, camel, and black. Coming from the world of fashion communication and publishing, Elin has made a distinctive design blueprint for TOTEME. Her co-founder Karl, former Design Director at Interview Magazine, oversees brand direction and TOTEME’s visual identity.
Fluid silhouettes, elemental textures and a neutral colour palette are signatures of the brand. Linen, undyed cotton, washed silks, and jersey are favoured fabrics. The TOTEME x Relove collaboration features: a dark grey pinstripe robe-style coat; Alpaca and boxy bouclé knits; a black silk linen blouse; soft cord shirts and pleated cord trousers; a wool crepe dress and skirt; a Habutai silk drop-shoulder top; and classic ankle boots in smooth and croc leather.
