Description

The Ruth Jean sits high on the waist with a sharp crease line down the centre of each wide leg below two rectangular patch pockets. The dark indigo denim is finished with a frayed edge detail at the waist and hem.

Product Journey
Origin:
The organic cotton is grown at a cotton farm in India and is certified with a Global Organic Textile Standard, GOTS. Organic cotton is a natural fibre which is grown without the use of harmful chemicals and ensures workers are paid a fair wage.

Mill:
The yarn is spun and woven at a family-run denim mill in Italy, which was founded in 1938. This fabric uses a completely microplastic-free dyeing process by replacing all harmful chemicals with 100% biodegradable and non-toxic materials. The mill is committed to reducing waste throughout the production process by collecting and recycling waste materials from the spinning, weaving and dyeing process.

Factory:
The trousers are manufactured, washed and finished at a factory in London, supporting local producers and reducing carbon footprint.
